Debug Magazine Announces Indie Game Awards 2025: A Full Day of Celebration for Indie Gaming

Exclusive Indie Game Awards Ceremony, Showcase, and Talks Set for February 21st at Metronome in Nottingham

Norwich, 14 November 2024 — Debug Magazine is thrilled to announce the return of the Indie Game Awards, set to take place on February 21st, 2025, at Metronome in Nottingham. This year’s all-day event will be the ultimate celebration of indie gaming, with doors open from 12:00 until 23:59.

Tickets are available immediately with no pre-registration required. Gaming fans and industry professionals alike can easily secure a spot for a day filled with awards, exclusive talks, and hands-on game experiences.

Indie Showcase and Debug U Talks
Also returning is the Indie Showcase, a curated exhibit of unique and innovative indie games where attendees can engage directly with some of 2024’s standout titles.

Alongside the awards, Debug will also host talks and Q&A sessions, featuring industry legends and indie success stories who will be sharing insights and behind-the-scenes stories on the Debug U stage.

2025 Award Categories
The Indie Game Awards will honour exceptional achievements across the indie gaming industry. This year’s categories include:

  • Debug Game of the Year – Celebrating the most influential indie title of 2024
  • Retro World Award – Honoring games that pay homage to classic aesthetics and gameplay
  • Best UK Game – Recognizing emerging talent making waves in the UK games industry
  • Subscribers Choice – A community-chosen award that lets fans have a voice in the ceremony

In addition, awards will recognize excellence in technical achievement, narrative, and more.
