Ahoy! Hoist the sails, raise the anchors, and get ready to chew your cud! This free-for-all four-player brawler has you and three other cow pirates duking it out for doubloons as you island hop, hoping to be the richest of them all by the time the um… cows come home?
Bullion is certainly saddled with some issues. The controls are a little floaty, and the designs harken back to the early days of party games, but, at least in my opinion, that only adds to the game’s unique charm. There are three game modes to pick from; a one island, timed brawl, a boss mode that will have a big meanie terrorising you and friends as you scramble for loot, and an island-hopping series mode.
The main joy of the game is found in playing with friends, but have no fear! If you don’t feel like inviting friends over, AI cows will fill in to round out the roster. For the right person, this game will scratch an itch unlike any other.
